Workshop on Street Threatre on 5th August 2017

Sriperumbudur, August 05-‘We need to adopt evolutionary and explorative path for developing our hidden talents among the students of RGNIYD.  We must double the passion for learning the acting skills as we are all actors as consumers, producers, distributors and traders. There is lot of scope for talented actors in Bollywood,’ advocated Professor (Dr.) M.M. Goel, Director RGNIYD while delivering the valedictory address of Workshop on Street Theatre conducted by Dr. Kaleeswaran, the street theatre facilitator of Alternate Media Centre   here today.

To gain recognition for the talent, let us step up our efforts for building a group to bring out the hidden talent within the students of RGNIYD. Let us believe in ourselves without any kind of fear ( false evidences appearing real) and trust in the dictum ‘ work works’ and work is worship and vice-versa, encouraged Prof. Goel.

Theatre Performance by MSW students is appreciated by the Director and the guests present on the occasion.

While quoting Alexander Pope, Professor Goel said ‘True is in writing comes by art and not by chance, as s(he) moves easiest who has learnt to dance.’

The feedback by facilitators of Alternate Media Centre will prove a mile stone for developing the talent among students, said Prof. Goel.

The development of talents in acting and dance calls for transforming our attitudes with accountability, skills and knowledge which can be perfect with spirituality- the spirit to know actuality with science of soul flowing from our epics including Gita and Anu-Gita , said Director RGNIYD.

The learning experiences by MSW students were also shared which will go a long way in the memory lane.  The certificates to the participants of the workshop were distributed by Director, RGNIYD.

Ms. Shreekala,MSW student   welcomed the guests and  Mr. Anshu Kumar  proposed the vote of thanks .   Dr. S. Kumaravel, HOD Social work and Mrs. Aruna Goel were also present on the occasion.
