Youth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Conference on ''Bringing together Young Achievers from India and Indian Diaspora'' was organized by MoYAS and Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India. Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India, Shri V. Muraleedharan, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports & Minority Affairs, Shri. Kiren Rijiju, Special Guest, Ms. Priyanca Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Minister for Youth, Community and Voluntary Sector, and Diversity, Inclusion and Ethnic Communities, New Zealand; Shri Sanjay Bhattacharyya, Secretary (OIA & CPV), Ministry of External Affairs, Ms.Usha Sharma, Secretary (YA), MoYAS, Prof.Sibnath Deb, Director, RGNIYD and other dignitaries participated in the Conference.

 

Among the ten Panelists, Prof. Sibnath Deb, Director, RGNIYD, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India was chosen as a speaker by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.   The Director, RGNIYD during the conference highlighted the facilitative role of RGNIYD in bringing together the young achievers from India and Indian diaspora and their engagement in various academic, research, training, exchange, outreach, extension pursuits including affirmative action on various social issues impinging the youth including the young women, youth from the marginalized and vulnerable segments of the society.
