Eligibility for Admission
Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with not less than 45% marks, are eligible to apply for the Programme(s). Those who have appeared for the final degree examination can also apply.
Mode of Selection
Selection of candidate will be based on overall percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying Degree examination and performance in the Entrance Test/ Interview. Reservation Rules are applicable as per Government of India norms.
Entrance Test
Entrance test will be conducted at different parts of the country to select students.
Numbers of Seats
Numbers of seats will be limited to 30 per programme.
Age Restrictions
There will be no age restriction for admission to these academic programmes
Documents to be submitted at the time of admission
a. Original Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination (In the absence of original Degree certificate, a provisional certificate issued from the University for granting provision admission). Admission thus granted will be regularized only on submission of the original Degree certificate (An attested copy of the original Degree certificate is also to be submitted).
b. Transfer Certificate (TC) from the Institute last attended (In case such certificate is not issued from the Institution last attended, a certificate stating this fact duly signed by the competent authority of that Institution should be submitted along with the application for the admission).
Enrolment Number
Every student admitted shall be assigned an Enrolment Number. They shall quote full Enrolment Number in all their correspondence with the Institute.
Duration of the Academic Programme
The duration of M.A. Programme will be of four semesters.
The Programmes have been designed by a large team of eminent specialists from several contributing disciplines. The interdisciplinary dialogue has been used for developing the programmes as a distinct discipline.
