These are pioneering Programmes promoting professionalism in youth work, offered by Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Deemed to be University u/s 3 of UGC Act, 1956, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

     RGNIYD is situated in a spacious campus with modern facilities at Sriperumbudur, approximately 39 kilometres from Chennai Central (NH-4, Chennai-Bangalore Highway). There are hostel facilities for boys and girls in the campus and transport facility from city to RGNIYD through university bus.

    ELIGIBILITY

   A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with not less than 45% marks. Those who have appeared for the final degree examination of 2010 can also apply.

     MODE of Selection

     Selection of candidates will be based on overall percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying Degree examination and performance in the Entrance test / Interview. Reservation Rules are applicable as per Government of India norms

      SCHOLARSHIP & OVERSEAS PARTICIPATION

            §   Selected candidates (2 in every subject) will be given scholarship based on their merits.
            § The Institute conducts international youth development programmes. Selected students will get a chance

                 for participation in the international programmes conducted overseas.
